Fine hotel - Love the Lift

I stayed at the Sully, for a weekend with a mate, we were in Paris to watch the 6 Nations match between France and England. Which England won, Marvellous!!

The Hotel is well located, only a short walk slightly up-hill from Maubert-Mutualité Metro stop.

The Seine and Notre Dame Cathedral are only 5 minutes walk or so downhill past the Metro, just uphill from the hotel, a couple of minutes walk is the Panthéon which is well worth a short visit.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful, we arrived early on Eurostar and the hotel staff let us leave our bags in the baggage room until our room was available to check-in (approx 1pm)

The room was well decorated, it had a pretty massive bath,there is a separate toilet from the bath room, it even had cushioned walls, this room only looks inwards over a small courtyard so doesn’t have an amazing view but is totally free from any traffic noise.

All in all I would recommend the hotel, we didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel or use the fitness centre so cant comment on those, The lift however is fantastic, if you like a tight squeeze.
